To fulfil its objectives the Society undertakes projects to assist researchers locate the records of South Australia.

Projects are initiated by the Council and managed by the Projects Committee and managers.
Currently we are undertaking the following projects:

• Transcribing and photographing memorial inscriptions and collecting burial registers. (Cemeteries)
  
• Indexing personal notices in newspapers. (Newspapers)
  
• Microfilming a range of records. (Filming)
