FAMILY HISTORY AWARDS

The Society presents two awards annually to the person or persons who, in the opinion of the Society, have submitted the best family history books in each of two categories for the previous calendar year. The books should be published by a South Australian or be written about a substantially South Australian family. The presentation of the awards is generally made at a dinner held towards the middle of each year for the best books published in the previous year.
The T.T. Reed Award is presented for the best family history published in the respective year, having an ISBN allocation. The Unpublished Book Award is presented for the best family history published in the respective year with no ISBN allocation.
